NUFS are going to see “Happy-Go-Lucky” on Thursday (1st) at Cameo, we’ll be meeting in thebar for a drink from 5.30pm, and onto the film at 6.20pm. Tickets are £2.

Film Description: “Poppy is a thirty-year old Primary School teacher in contemporary North London. She has great friends, a job she loves and a full life. The movie watches her confront the harsh realities of life and deal with them head-on, never losing her sense of humour.”

We’ll also be heading to the pub after the film, as always.

Hi guys, To celebrate the new term, we’ll be showing a couple of films this Thursday (7th Feb) in room A17 at Merchiston from 6pm to 9pm, when we’ll then head to the union for a couple of drinks. We’ll be providing the sweets and drinks (non-alcoholic since it’s university property!) For those who have no idea where A17 is, head along to Merchiston, go into the JKCC entrance and turn left along the toilets and follow the signs to A17. NUFS are going to see “Black Sheep” on Thursday (8th) at Cineworld, we’ll be meeting in McCowan’s bar for a drink from 5.30pm, and onto the film at 6.35pm. As we don’t have a discount with Cineworld, tickets will be normal student prices at £4.30. If you have a SnapFAX, you can receive a £1 discount.

Film Description: “Kiwi black comedy about zombie sheep. Terrified of sheep and dosed up on therapy, Henry Oldfield returns to his family’s farm to sell out to his brother Angus, unaware that something baaaad is going on: Angus’ reckless genetic engineering program. When a pair of inept activists release a mutant lamb from Angus’ laboratory onto the farm, thousands of sheep are turned into bloodthirsty predators.
