NUFS

We’re a small bunch of individuals who like to go see films. Good films at that.

Napier University Film Society is one of Napier’s longest running non-sporting clubs. Meeting every Thursday, we watch films (surprise surprise), usually with hefty discounts. Both mainstream and lesser-known films are seen, according to our chaotically democratic decision making. Often, the Great and Benevolent Student’s Association funds visits to the famous Brass Monkey pub, which boasts it’s own private screening room. Oh, and fresh blood is always welcome! The Society’s Executive is made up of three members. We see to the running of NUFS and are always there at meetings.

Hilary: Hilary does all the Presidential stuff. She’s the one who replies to emails, questions, etc, spams your email account, and does all the website-y stuff. She’ll be the one running around like a headless chicken.

Rob: VP/ Secretary/ Right hand man, Rob loves Film. Maybe even more than Hilary. Always thinking bigger, better and badder.

Mark: Treasurer and chocolate devotee. Always there, always enthusiastic. He’ll be the one bouncing around, charged up on sugar.
