What’s been happening! | Oct 22nd 2007
Hey folks!
A lot’s happened since our last meeting on Thursday. Rob and I have been working hard to try to make NUFS more fun and interesting for everyone. We’ve spoken with the Filmhouse and have managed to get members £3 tickets when attending a NUFS meeting. That’s £1.50 off normal student prices, meaning more money for drinks! To celebrate our new working relationship with the Filmhouse we’re going to see The Counterfeiters at 8.45pm. Tickets are £3! Woohoo!
We’re also adding an extra film night, so we’ll be watching films on a Tuesday and a Thursday. Film suggestions are more than welcome!
Our special meeting at Brass Monkey on Thursday 1st November will be a sci-fi 50s B-movie theme night. We’ll be showing films like War of the Worlds, Forbidden Planet, It Came From Outer Space, Journey to the Centre of the Earth, etc.
So, to recap, NUFS will be meeting in the Filmhouse Bar this Thursday (25th) from 7.30pm, then going to see The Counterfeiters at 8.45pm. Tickets are £3 for members.
